Dragon Bangle

I'm making the Dragon Bangle pattern by Nancy Jones found in Beadwork Magazine, Feb/Mar 2011.  It was sooooo difficult to get it started.  I tried to begin this one while I was at a lecture but the light was terrible, I couldn't see the thread bridges and the Magatama Drops have an up side and down side.  I think it took me four false starts before I got the right tension and the figured out how to pick up those drop beads.  Actually, it took a glass of wine and some SOLID self talk, "I can DO this!" to make it happen.  Now, it's a super easy pattern and I really like the way it's turning out.  The beads are really funky and I LOVE the look.  Here's what I've got so far:
